DayTime and Evening Fitness Classes

All daytime and evening classes will be offered in the Hartland Educational Support Service Center (former high school on M-59).

   Please bring a water bottle, supportive shoes, towel or mat and hand-held weights.  Steps and resistance bands will be provided for use during the class.  Instructors are experienced in safe and effective exercise to give you an awesome workout.  Participants MUST sign in at the beginning of each class.

SUMMER 2010 DAYTIME & EVENING FITNESS CLASSES

CARDIO KICKBOXING:  This workout is Total Body conditioning, combining cardio kickboxing drills with weight training intervals and core work.  This class is for every fitness level from beginner to advanced.  Gloves are required. 

CARDIO PUMP & TRAINING:  This is a challenging class to get you up bright and early and feeling good mid-week.  Cardio and strength training using a variety of equipment to achieve a different workout every time accommodating all fitness levels.  Minimum for this class is 10 participants.

CARDIO/WEIGHT MIX: This is a class that accommodates all fitness levels.  Class changes every week so there is no routine to memorize.  Basic movements are used in a combination of cardiovascular and weight lifting exercise that targets all areas of the body.

MOVE TO THE MUSIC FITNESS (DANCE FITNESS):  Dance Fitness is a Zumba-style dance class that fuses Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program that will blow you away.  The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat.  -  Zumba is a registered trademark of Zumba Fitness, LLC, and this course and its description is in no way suggesting an affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement of Zumba Fitness, LLC, or any of its subsidiaries, programs, products or services.

STATIC STRETCH AND PULSE:  Yoga inspired stretch class; in this class you will work on toning your arms, legs and core by holding long poses called static poses.  We will work on balance and core strength by pulsing in these static poses.  The movements are slow, relaxing and strength building.  Bring a mat.

STEP AND SCULPT:  Combine cardiovascular exercise with strength training for the whole body.  The format will interchange segments of step aerobics with weight training exercises using dumbbells.  We will end the class with abdominal exercises and stretching.
