Recreational Travel players, (birth years 2016-2010), will play games against regional teams in the Western Suburban Soccer League (WSSL). 7v7, 9v9 and 11v11 formats are played based on player age as determined by US Soccer.

Drop Fees: Up till March 3 - $10 drop fee; after March 3 - $25 fee; after March 31 - NO REFUNDS
Team Rosters: For in-house teams, the goal is to create balanced competition. This may mean dominate players/teams will be separated. With the transition to travel rec, it is important that players get exposure to a variety of players of variable skill levels. We try to create fair and balanced teams so all players can enjoy their time on the field. They are not just learning how to play the sport, but developing into good teammates and friends. As they age through the program they will develop and learn from each other as well as their coach. It is important as they grow with the program, they get a chance to play with everyone. Knowing all the kids in their age group will make transitioning to a larger format easier for all players and coaches involved.
Requests: 1-2 Buddy requests may be made. HUFC will try to honor as many buddy requests as possible. When possible HUFC will attempt to keep teams together from one season to the next. No coach requests will be considered. No requests to play down will be considered.
Requests to play up will only be considered under the following circumstances:
1. There must be an open roster spot on a team at the higher level.
2. Player must demonstrate the skills necessary and the ability to safely play in the higher division. (a skills test may be required).
3. Player’s parent may be required to coach the team, training and background check must be completed before registration deadline.
