Dynamic Expressions Dance

Dance Instructors: Teresa Dorough, Denise Carson, Marissa Morga and Annie Yockey

All dance classes will be held in the dance studios located in the Hartland Educational Support Service Center. Ms. Teresa, Ms. Annie, Ms. Marissa and Ms. Denise are returning again this year for another wonderful year of instruction. We are pleased to offer teachers with lots of teaching experience who love children and dance.

The program begins in September and ends with a Dance Recital scheduled for May 18 and 19, 2018. Participation in recital is not required to take classes. All classes participate in the recital, with the exception of the Princess and Adult classes.* The success of the recital depends on participation in both the Fall and Winter sessions. Please understand that upon acceptance of your fall registration by Hartland Community Education, that your child is guaranteed a spot in the winter-to-recital session.

Class prices are as follows:

Princess Class – 6 week session $48 (needs to be paid at registration)

30 min class - $180.50 (pd in full, 5%) or $95 per session or $25.75 a month (includes service charge)

45 min class - $226 (pd in full, 5%) or $119 per session or $31.75 a month (includes service charge)

60 min class - $237.50 (pd in full, 5%) or $125 per session or $33.25 a month (includes service fee)

There are 3 different payment options for you to choose from.

  • Payment Option #1: You can pay your entire year's class tuition before September 15 and receive a 5% discount off your total.

  • Payment Option #2: Payment can be broken into two equal payments by semester with tuition being due before the first class and the second semester payment due by January 26.

  • Payment Option #3: This option is only available if you use Hartland Community Education’s Monthly Tuition Payment. A Credit Card is the only form of payment accepted for this payment option. You will need to leave a credit card number on file with the Community Ed office and Ms. Teresa will process your payment the first Monday of that month. Your payment will be broken down into 8 equal monthly payments that will include a service charge each month as well. The first installment will be due at the time of registration and the following 7 payments will be made automatically with April 2018 being the last payment.

There are additional costs for shoes and costumes. Shoes can be ordered at the Open House or you can purchase them at any dance store. Costumes for the recital will be ordered in December 2017. The recital is not mandatory but your teacher will need to know if you are not going to participate. Costume prices vary from $40-$70, this includes the costume, tights and any accessories. All costumes must be paid in full before they will be ordered. If you decide to participate in the recital after costumes are ordered, you will be responsible for any additional shipping costs. Costume fees will be made in two payments. The first payment of the $25 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT PER COSTUME will be due on or before October 20, 2017, and the balance of all costumes ordered will be due in March 2018. ****By paying the costume deposit, and for consistency in the performances, you are committing to participate in both recital shows.
